Minnesota State Fair Butter Sculptures

One of the silliest exhibitions at the State Fair is the butter sculptures. Take 500 pounds of solid-state dairy product and turn it into art! Yippee!

Never made it to the butter sculptures this time. Our first stop was the birth barn and while I didn't witness a birth I got to see it on their monitors. Yikes

We were there when a calf was being born. It was actually pretty cool and, oddly, not as gross live as it looked on the monitor. She was just taking her first steps when we went back later. aww...cute!
